JUDGMENT
V.K.MOHANAN, J Pursuant to our order dated 22.1.2015, the daughter of the petitioner is produced before this court and we have interacted with her. We have also heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the third respondent and also heard the learned Additional Director General of Prosecution. The learned Additional Director General of Prosecution submitted that the daughter of the petitioner volunteered to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board and lodged a complaint against her step father and her mother, which was forwarded to Pazhayannoor police station on the basis of which Crime No.1342 of 2014 was registered in that station on 25.12.2014. It is also submitted that consequent to the registration of the said crime, the step father of the detenue was arrested on 26.1.2015.
2. When we interacted with the detenue Miss Sariga, she submitted before us that she is not under the illegal confinement of anybody and the mother had visited her on several occasions while she was accommodated in the Mahila
Wpcr 533/2014 Mandiram at Thrissur and the detenue has specifically stated that the demand of the mother was to withdraw the complaint filed against the step father and further submitted that she does not want to talk with the mother.
3. In the light of the above facts and circumstances, it can be seen that the allegation of the petitioner in the writ petition is not correct and Miss Sariga is not under the illegal confinement of anybody. In the above circumstances, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he is not pressing the writ petition. The said submission is recorded. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as not pressed. V.K.MOHANAN, JUDGE P.D.RAJAN, JUDGE lgk
