J U D G M E N T

The petitioner approached this Court for following relief: "1. Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ order or direction, directing the respondents not to seize or register cases under the Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act 2001, Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1967 or Indian Penal Code against the vehicles, its drivers and owners transporting river sand imported from other states as directed in Ext.P3 Circular and Ext.P4 Government Order and Ext.P5 judgment. 2.

Issue any other appropriate Writ, Order, or Direction as the case may be as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and necessary in the interest of justice."
