Ashok Bhushan, CJ.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned State Attorney.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is a technical institution, seeking for protection from a group called Technical Students Organisation. The petitioner alleges that certain obstructions were created on 19.11.2015 when PTA meeting was going on. It is further stated that the said group has again called a meeting on 9.12.2015 and there is threat to the property and personnels of the institution. The petitioner claims to have filed a complaint on 23.11.2015.

Learned State Attorney on instructions would submit that on 19.11.2015, when the police went to the spot, they did not find any incident there. It is further submitted that the police is ready and willing to give protection as and when any such incident happens. Learned State Attorney further submits that with regard to the meeting to be held on 9.12.2015, the police shall provide

W.P.(C) No.36273 of 2015 -: 2 :- adequate protection, provided they are informed about the same by the Institution.

Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned State Attorney, we close the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the police authorities, as and when any such threat is apprehended.
