J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is a stage carriage operator, who had been issued with a regular permit to conduct service on the route South Vazhakulam - Kolencherry valid from 11.05.2007 to 10.05.2012. According to the petitioner, owing to circumstances beyond his control, the petitioner was constrained to dispose of the vehicle and surrender the permit even before the expiry of the period specified in the permit. For the last more than three years, no other stage carriage permit has been issued on the route and the timings issued to the petitioner's service is even now lying vacant. 2.
In the above backdrop, the petitioner procured another stage carriage bearing registration No. KL -07/ AH 1544 and applied for a temporary permit to operate in the vacancy occasioned by the default of his own
W.P.(C) No. 36368 of 2015 -: 2 :- route bus. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the long lapse of time, Ext.P3 application has not been considered by the respondent so far.

Having regard to the averments in the Writ Petition and the submissions made at the Bar, the respondent is directed to consider and pass order on Ext.P3, at the earliest, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
