JUDGMENT
The petitioner is the registered owner of a stage carriage bearing Registration No.KL-07/AH-3484, which is covered by Ext.P2 temporary permit, to conduct service on the route Aluva-Thevara Junction and the permit is valid till 9.3.2016. After the purchase of the aforesaid vehicle from one K.I.Usman under Ext.P2 temporary permit the petitioner submitted Ext.P3 application for temporary permit to operate on the route in question, in her own name. The former registered owner as well as the permit holder of the said vehicle Usman also submitted Ext.P4 representation before the respondent giving his consent for granting temporary permit to the petitioner. But, the respondent has not taken any decision on Ext.P3, despite the long lapse of time. This is the grievance ventilated in this writ petition.
WP(C).36379/15 :2:
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
3. Having regard to the grievance projected in the writ petition and the submissions made at the Bar, the respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3, at the earliest, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
