JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the registered owner of a stage carriage, bearing Registration No.KL-07/BH-164 with a time schedule approved by the respondent herein in the year 1997 by Ext.P1. As per the approved time schedule issued to the petitioner's stage carriage the third trip from Mattancherry departs at 10.19 A.M. There is another stage carriage operating on the route Fort Kochi-South Chittoor just one minute ahead of the petitioner's service. Recently, another stage carriage operating on the route Fort KochiChittoor Ferry has defaulted consequent on the surrender of the permit issued to it. The timings allotted to the said stage carriage have thereby fallen vacant. It was in the said circumstances that the petitioner submitted Ext.P2 representation before

WP(C).36394/15 :2: the respondent for revising the timings of the petitioner's stage carriage by advancing the departure time at Mattancherry from 10.19 A.M. to 10.15 A.M. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the long lapse of time, the respondent has not scheduled the timing conference on Ext.P2.

2. Having regard to the grievance ventilated in this writ petition and the submissions made at the Bar, the respondent is directed to schedule timing conference with respect to the petitioner's vehicle within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made clear that notice shall be issued to all the concerned parties. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Sd/- K. HARILAL, JUDGE okb.
