JUDGMENT

Shaffique, J.

The petitioners have approached this Court seeking police protection alleging that respondents 4 and 5 are obstructing the petitioners from putting boundary stones in the property belonging to them after fixation of boundary.

2. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioners and on perusal of the materials produced, we do not think that police can interfere in the matter and remedy of the petitioners is to put boundary stones at the instance of Taluk Surveyor. The petitioner can approach competent authorities and seek appropriate directions.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
