JUDGMENT

The petitioner submitted application for the grant of a regular permit to operate service on the route Kottarakkara Ganapathy Temple-Amrithapuri via in the place of stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-02 Y 2772, which has been defaulted and surrendered the permit. According to the petitioner, the entire route falls within the jurisdiction of the first respondent and therefore no concurrence or countersignature is required from any authorities. Despite a long lapse of time, no action has been taken so far on Ext.P1. This is the grievance submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner in this writ petition. 2.

Having regard to the grievance highlighted at the bar, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on Ext.P1, at the earliest, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment or in the next RTA meeting, whichever is earlier.
