J U D G M E N T
The petitioner was holder of gun licence and the licence has been expired. The petitioner had surrendered the gun before the respondent as he has to go abroad. The petitioner approached this Court for following reliefs.
i. To renew the gun licence and ii. To return the gun 2.
The application for renewal of gun licence has not been considered for want of report from the 3rd respondent. In that view of the matter the following directions are issued. i.
The 3rd respondent is directed to forward the report to the 2nd respondent or the first respondent within one month from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgment. ii.
Thereafter either the first respondent or the 2nd respondent shall take a decision within further period of one month after adverting to the judgment of this Court in Chandran
W.P.(C).No. 36642 of 2015 - : 2 :- Nair Vs. Additional District Magistrate [2015 (1) KHC 351] . iii.
If the petitioner's gun licence is renewed, the gun shall be returned to the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed of, as above.
