J U D G M E N T

The vehicle used for operation in service can be replaced by an older vehicle provided the same is roadworthy. This principle should be borne in mind while considering Ext.P2 application for replacement sought by the petitioner.

2. I direct the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application with notice to the petitioner within a period of two weeks.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
