JUDGMENT

The petitioners are working as Junior Assistant (Employment Exchange) in the service of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation. According to them, they have more than eight years of provisional service and they are fully qualified, as per Clause XLIX(7) of Ext.P2 bilateral agreement of 2012, for regularisation of service as employees of the respondent Corporation. Claiming protection under the above clause the petitioners have preferred Ext.P3 representation praying for regularisation and the same is pending consideration before the 1st respondent. The grievance of the petitioners is that despite the long lapse of time, Ext.P3 has not been considered so far.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent

3. Having regard to the grievance projected in this writ petition and the submissions made at the Bar, the 1st respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 representation, at the earliest, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the first petitioner alone.
