JUDGMENT
The petitioner's vehicle bearing registration No.KL-10-U-6871 has been seized alleging the provisions of the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act. The petitioner made a request before the second respondent to take sample of the sand and forward the same for analysis by the fourth respondent.
In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to take sample of the seized sand and forward the same to the fourth respondent. This shall be done within a period of two weeks. Thereafter, the fourth respondent shall send its report within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. On receipt of the report from the fourth respondent, the second respondent shall conclude the entire proceedings within a further period of two weeks based on the report.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
