JUDGMENT

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner, a member of Thuravoor Co-operative Joint Farmers Society Ltd, has submitted Exhibit P1 representation to the second respondent urging the authorities to conduct election to the Managing Board in the Society at the earliest. Further, seeking expeditious disposal of Exhibit P1 representation he has approached this Court.

3. In response to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader has submitted that the second respondent has no objection to consider petitioner's Exhibit P1 representation in accordance with law, at the earliest.

W.P.(c) No. 37497 of 2015 In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, disposes of the present writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider Exhibit P1 representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. No order as to costs.
