The petitioner approached the Village Officer by Ext.P5 for accepting the basic tax in respect of 7 cents of land in Sy.No.156/1 of Kottakkal village.
2.
On instructions, the learned Government Pleader submits that the petitioner has sold out the entire land and no land remains in the same village and the petitioner is attempted to pay the basic tax in respect of the land situated in poramboke. 3.
This Court is of the view that the respondent shall identify the property claimed by the petitioner with title deed relied by the petitioner and thereafter if it is found that any land belongs to the petitioner remains with the petitioner, necessarily the basic tax shall be accepted. Needful shall be done within three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of, as above.
