JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court on account of the delay in effecting transfer of registry in respect of the property covered by Exts. P1 to P3. Petitioner submitted that the request is pending from 2003 onwards.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader submitted that without verifying the genuineness of Patta referred in petitioner's documents, the request for effecting transfer of Registry cannot be accepted.

3. Petitioner has prayed for demarcation of property based on the title deed. Considering the facts and circumstances, second respondent shall verify the genuineness of Patta claimed by the petitioner. This exercise shall be done within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. On being satisfied that the Patta claimed by the petitioner is genuine, necessarily property shall be demarcated within two months thereafter. On demarcation, the transfer of Registry shall

The writ petition is disposed of.
