J U D G M E N T

C.K. Abdul Rehim, J The alleged detenues in both these cases Miss.Shazia and Mr. Mathew Felix are personally present before this court on today. Counsel appearing for the petitioner in W.P.(Crl.) No.159/2015 as well as learned Government Pleader submitted that, marriage between them was solemnized under the Special Marriage Act on 30.05.2015, before the Marriage Officer (Sub Registrar), Thiruvananthapuram. Both of them expressed desire to live together as husband and wife. We record the solemnization of the marriage between the above said persons and set them at liberty to live together at any place of their own choice.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in W.P.(Crl.) 159/2015 made a submission before this court that

W.P.(Crl.) No.165 of 2015 & W.P.(Crl.) No.159 of 2015 some of the articles belonging to Sri.Mathew Felix is kept in the house of the petitioner in W.P.(Crl.) No.165/2015. Counsel appearing for the petitioner in the said case informed that the petitioner has no objection in returning if any such articles are available with them.

Under the above mentioned circumstances, both these writ petitions are hereby closed by recording the marriage and by setting the alleged detenues at liberty to live as husband and wife.

Respondents 2 and 3 in both these cases shall ensure protection to their life, if any information is received about any physical threat from the side of the relatives or henchman of the parents.
