Opp. Parties Mr. Prasanna Kumar Parhi, Assistant Solicitor General

CORAM:

JUSTICE K.R. MOHAPATRA

ORDER

Order No.

29.04.2022 4.

1.

This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2.

None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. 3.

The Petitioner in this writ petition seeks for a direction to set aside the notice dated 10th September, 2012 (Annexure-1) issued by the DIGP-cum-Estate Officer, Group Centre, CRPF, Bhubaneswar-Opposite Party No.2 directing him to vacate the Quarters No.117, Type-IspL situated in Group Centre, CRPF, Bhubaneswar.

4.

On perusal of the order sheet of the writ petition, it appears that while issuing notice in the matter vide order dated 5th October, 2012, this Court, as an interim measure, directed the parties to maintain status quo in respect of the possession over the quarter in question as on that day till 23rd November, 2012. The said interim order was extended from time to time and is in force till today. It further appears that after issuance of notice, the matter was adjourned at the instance of the Petitioner.

// 2 // 5.

Thus, it appears that the Petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the writ petition.

6.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed for nonprosecution. 7.

The interim order dated 5th October, 2012 passed in Misc. Case No.16302 of 2012 stands vacated.
