This matter is taken by video conferencing mode. 2.
Heard Miss. S.Rath, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the Appellants and Mrs.P.Rath, learned counsel for the Respondent. Gone through the orders dated 18.04.2019 and 25.04.2019 as also the documents filed in connection with the same.

It is seen that the parties have arrived at a settlement as to full and final satisfaction of the claim of the Respondent No.1 (Plaintiff) on payment of Rs.2,60,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Sixty Thousand) by the Appellants (Defendants) to the Respondent (Plaintiff). The counsels also so submit on that score of settlement as above.
In view of the above, the Appeal stands disposed of with the modification of decrees passed by the Courts below that the Appellants (Defendants) are liable to pay Rs.2,60,000/-
// 2 // to the Respondent (Plaintiff) with interest @ 12% per annum with effect from today within a period of three months. It is, however, made clear that in the event, the payment, as aforesaid, is not made within the time stipulated; the said amount would carry interest @ 18% per annum from today till payment.

The Appeal is accordingly disposed of without cost. As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020 as modified by Court's Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
