This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioners in this I.A. pray for a direction to the Opposite Party Nos.1 and 3 to issue valid adoption certificate within the stipulated period.

Mr. Pradhan, learned Central Government Counsel submits that in view of pendency of the matter before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Transfer Petition (C) No.1664 of 2021 filed by the Petitioners, they are not in a position to take any step in that regard. He, however, submits that after disposal of the transfer petition by the Hon'ble Supreme Court steps shall be taken in accordance with law for issuance of adoption certificate.

Mr. Tripathy, learned counsel for the Petitioners, however, submits that the transfer petition filed by the Petitioners before Hon'ble Supreme Court has become infrustuous and that cannot stand on the way of the Authority to take steps for issuance of valid adoption certificate. He further submits that the Petitioners have already taken steps for

// 2 // withdrawal of the said transfer petition pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. But, due to the ensuing vacation, the same could not be moved.

In view of the above, the I.A. is disposed of with an observation that necessary steps with regard to issuance of valid adoption certification shall be taken in accordance with law after disposal of the transfer petition pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
