Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

It has been brought to the notice of this Court that in the meantime, in disposal of a batch of cases, the Division Bench of this Court involving W.P.(C) No.13353 of 2004 decided on 23.2.2021 has already issued a specific direction to the Chief Secretary of the State. It has been also brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to such direction, there has been subsequent development. The direction therein claims to be also covering the case of the present Petitioner.

Taking into account the submission and on perusal of the direction in W.P.(C) No.13353 of 2004, this Court disposes of the present Writ Petition simply observing that the Competent Authority

// 2 // shall find out whether the case of the Petitioner stands covered by the direction in W.P.(C) No.13353 of 2004 decided on 23.2.2021 and in such event the direction therein shall also be covering an exercise involving the request of the Petitioner. (Biswanath Rath) Judge M.K.Rout
