in the Nandankanan Zoological Park was disengaged from service in the year 2009 on account of killing of some birds.

The instant contempt has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order dated 28.11.2013 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.23727 of 2013, whereby the direction was issued to the competent authority to decide the claim of the petitioner for reengagement.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present contempt petition.
