This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

The limited grievance of the Petitioner in the present Writ Application is that his name has not been enlisted to appear in the Computer Skill Test Examination for the purpose of promotion from Group-D employee to Group-C.

In course of argument, learned counsel for the Petitioner draws the attention of the Court to Annexure-3, which is a list prepared on 27th December, 2021 by the Deputy Collector, Cuttack. 4.

Mr.T.K.Praharaj, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State submits that the name of the Petitioner has been subsequently recommended on 28th December, 2021.

In such view of the matter, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Education Officer, Cuttack, Opposite Party No.3 to allow the present Petitioner to appear in the Computer Skill Test along with other similarly situated candidates. If the

// 2 // Petitioner is found otherwise suitable, his case for promotion shall also be considered along with other employees. 6.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted in course of the day.
