1. Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners states that a direction may be issued to the Member, Board of Revenue to dispose of the confirmation application referred by the Tahasildar, Bhubaneswar under Section 5(i) of the Orissa Estate Abolition Act (OEA Act) (OEA Case No.6 of 1970).

2. It is not known that the said application is still pending. If it is, the Member, Board of Revenue will endeavour to dispose it of after hearing the parties within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.

3. The petition is disposed of in the above terms. The interim order dated 22nd December 1997 stands vacated.
