Heard Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate through video conferencing mode.

According to Mr. Panda, the petitioner who happens to be the complainant in I.C.C. Case No. 463 of 2019 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Berhampur is aggrieved by nondisposal of the said case where cognizance of offence under Section 500 I.P.C. has been taken.

Considering the innocuous nature of prayer made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the CRLMP is disposed of directing the learned S.D.J.M., Berhampur to make all endeavour to dispose of the above noted complaint case in accordance with law within a period of eighteen months from the date normal functioning of the Court work is restored.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may
