1. Considering that the issue is about notional fixation of pay in the junior S.E.S. cadre scale, taking into account the dates of occurrence of the vacancies of the Opposite Parties-school teachers and considering the fact that they have all now superannuated, the Court does not consider it appropriate to continue to entertain the present petition.

2. Accordingly, while vacating the interim order of this Court dated 20th September, 2004 and leaving the question of law that arises from the impugned order open for decision in some other appropriate case and clarifying that the impugned order will not constitute a precedent, the writ petition is disposed of.
