2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

3. The petitioner was granted regular bail by order dated 06.07.2022 on the condition, inter alia, of furnishing property security of Rs.10,000,00/- to the satisfaction of the learned Court below. It is submitted that because of ongoing strike by the employees of the office of District Sub-Registrar, Cuttack the petitioner is unable to obtain necessary valuation certificate of his property so as to give the required security. As a result, despite being granted bail since 06.07.2022, he is still languishing in custody. It is further submitted that in the meantime, the petitioner's father has expired and therefore, he may be released on interim bail.

4. Considering the above facts and the ground on which the prayer for interim bail is made, I am inclined to allow the prayer for interim bail.

5. Let the petitioner be released on interim bail for a period of two weeks from the date of his actual release on such terms and conditions as the Court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose.

6. He shall surrender to custody on expiry of the aforesaid period, failing which appropriate warrant may be issued for his production. So far as the regular bail is concerned, the same shall be contingent upon satisfaction of the conditions as imposed in the order dated 06.07.2022.

7. The I.A. is disposed of.
