This application has been filed by the petitioner under Section 407 of Cr.P.C. for transfer of 1.C.C. Case No. 68 of 2001 and 1.C.C. Case No. 123 of 2001 from the Court of the learned S.D.J.M., Puri to the Court of the learned S.D.J.M., Cuttack. 4.

The matter was listed on 14.11.2003, 11.12.2003, 09.02.2004, 26.03.2011 and 10.09.2016. None had appeared for the petitioner on 14.11.2003, 09.02.2004, 26.03.2011 and 10.09.2016, from which it appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the transfer application. Considering the fact that 20 years have elapsed since filing of this application and no interim order has been passed, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this application pending.
