1. The present petition concerns non-payment of compensation for land acquired for the Minor Irrigation Project in Dangbahal MIP of Patnagarh Block of Bolangir District. Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 12th February, 2014 and 18th April, 2017 a compliance affidavit has been filed on 10th July, 2017. There has been no affidavit in response thereto from the side of the Petitioners.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners states the Petitioner No.1 has in the meanwhile expired and his legal heirs are not coming forward to claim any further relief.

3. In the event, any of the legal heirs of the Petitioner No.1 have any further grievance and, if permissible in law, it will be open to them to seek appropriate remedies in separate proceedings.
