This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The alleged contemnor, namely, Dibyadarshan Mahunta has appeared in person before us. He has tendered unconditional and unqualified apology for making the comments in the letter, which he addressed to the Hon'ble Chief Justice of this Court. A copy of the said letter was also delivered to the Single Judge, who was hearing the bail application of the accused persons, who are booked for murder of his father.

The alleged contemnor is only 23 years of age and studying Engineering in KIIT University. We have interacted with him. He has expressed his remorse. He has as well assured that, he would not repeat this kind of act in future and will not come in conflict with law in any manner. According

to us, his apology is sincere and well-thought. We accept that apology and drop this proceeding at this stage. 4.

Mr. S.S. Mohanty, learned counsel has appeared for the alleged contemnor. Assistance extended by Ms. S. Patnaik, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State is noteworthy.

Records of the BLAPL No.831 of 2022, as called by us, be returned to the assigned Bench.
