1. The compliance affidavit by Opposite Party Nos.3 and 4 has been perused.
2. It is directed that a DPC be convened to consider the case of the Petitioner for promotion as Sheristadar along with others who are eligible to be so considered at the relevant point in time i.e. on the retirement of Sri K.C. Guru on 31st August, 2016. Since the Petitioner has superannuated in the meanwhile, if he is found suitable for such promotion, it shall be notionally given to him from the relevant date with the pension being recomputed. However, there will be no arrears of salary to be paid, only the arrears of the pension as recomputed. The entire exercise will be completed within a period of eight weeks and the decision be communicated to the Petitioner not later than 4th July, 2022. The payment of arrears of pension if nay be completed within eight weeks thereafter.
3. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
