Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present contempt would no longer survive as the opposite parties have granted the benefit of the ad hoc service towards placement of the petitioner in the Senior Lecturer grade/Reader in compliance of the order dated 23.10.2017 passed in W.P.(C) No.21392 of 2017.
