This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

The grievance of the Petitioner in the present writ application is that the representation made by the Petitioner under Annexure-4 is pending before the District Education Officer, Keonjhar, which is pending for consideration.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the representation of the Petitioner dated 02.03.2020 addressed to the District Education Officer, Keonjhar, Opposite Party No.3 is pending for consideration. Though two years have been elapsed in the meantime no decision has been taken on the representation of the petitioner.

Mr.Mohanty, learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department submits that he has no objection if a direction is given to the District Education Officer, Keonjhar to consider and

// 2 // dispose of the representation of the Petitioner. 5.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and without entering into the merits of the matter, this Court disposes of the writ application with a direction to the District Education Officer, Keonjhar, Opposite Party No.3 to consider the representation dated 02.03.2020 of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order and pass a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner shall be communicated to the Petitioner within 10 days thereafter.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
