This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode.

1. Petitioner is stated to have availed a loan of Rs.15,03,000/- for purchase of a Truck from Tata Motors Finance Limited, Bhubaneswar (a NonBanking Finance Company)/O.P. No.5 in October, 2009. Due to the stated illness of the petitioner, the loan installments could not be paid. Hence, the prayer set out in the present writ petition is for a direction to the Finance Company for rescheduling of the debt or in the alternative extend the benefit of One Time Settlement. However, no reference to any One Time Settlement Policy prevailing by the Finance Company has been referred.

2. On perusal of the record bears out that after availing the benefit of an interim order from this Court on 17.01.2011, on numerous occasions including before the Lok Adalat, none has put in appearance for the petitioner or the Finance Company. It can be safely said that due to efflux of time, both the parties have lost interest in pursuing the present writ petition.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
