This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode. 2.

The present CRLMP petition has been filed by the Petitioner challenging the inaction of the I.I.C. Rambha P.S., Ganjam, Opposite Party No.3 in the matter of investigation in connection with Rambha P.S. Case No.306 of 2021. It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that although he has approached the concerned I.I.C. In-Charge as well as the Superintendent of Police, Ganjam, but no action has been taken as of now. 3.

Mr. Praharaj, learned Standing Counsel for the State submits that investigation of the case is still continuing in the matter. 4.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court disposes of the CRLMP petition with a direction to the Petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, Chatrapur, Ganjam, Opposite Party No.2 by filing a fresh grievance petition indicating his objection in the petition. In the event such grievance petition is filed

// 2 // before the Opposite Party No.2 within a period of two weeks from today along with an authenticated copy of this order, Opposite Party No.2 shall do well to consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of two weeks thereafter. It is needless to mention here that in the event Opposite Party No.2 is satisfied that the investigation is not being conducted properly or in accordance with law, appropriate steps shall be taken to start the investigation to ensure that the same has progressed as per law. 5.

With the aforesaid direction, the CRLMP stands disposed of. 6.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID -19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
