1. It appears that in a similar matter where again the challenge was Order No.
to the order of the Settlement Officer, a learned Single Judge of this Court by an order dated 16th May, 2018 in Writ Petition (Civil) No.27379 of 2017 set aside the portion with regard to change of record of right (ROR) giving liberty to the Petitioner to approach the Tahasildar.
2. Accordingly, the impugned order in the present case of the Settlement Officer, Jobra, Cuttack dated 6th August, 2013 is interfered with only to the extent it directs change in the ROR. Consequently, all further actions taken as a result of the said direction are also set aside.
3. The Petitioner is at liberty now to approach the Tahasildar within a period of four weeks for implementation of the directions in the impugned order, in accordance with law.
4. The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
5. An urgent certified copy of this order be issued as per Rules. (Dr. S. Muralidhar) Chief Justice (R. K. Pattanaik) Judge TUDU
