ORDER

1. This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode.

2. The Petitioner's limited prayer at this stage is that pending the Petitioner's appeal being considered by the Appellate Authority, no coercive steps to dispossess the Petitioner from the property in question should be taken.

3. It appears that the Appellate Authority is at present not functional. In the circumstances, it is directed that in the event the Deputy Director, Enforcement Directorate, Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.2) seeks to dispossess the Petitioner pursuant to the impugned order, at least 10 days' advance notice should be given to the Petitioner to enable her to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law. This interim order is without prejudice to the rights and

contentions of the parties and should not be construed as an expression of any opinion by this Court on merits.

4. This interim order will continue till such time the Appellate Authority is able to take up the application for interim relief stated to have been filed by the Petitioner along with the appeal.

5. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.

6. As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos. No.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
