2. Heard Mr. S.P. Misra, learned Senior Counsel with Ms. S. Rout for the appellants and Mr. P.K. Mohapatra, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. In course of hearing, this Court finds that the suit, being one for partition of the ancestral property between the members of the same family, can also be attempted to be resolved amicably through the process of mediation.

4. Learned counsel appearing parties agree to the suggestion. In such view of the matter, let the records be placed before the Secretary, DLSA, Angul, who shall appoint a mediator from the panel.

5. The parties are requested to appear before the mediator after

receiving notice and to render full cooperation in the mediation proceeding. Further, the mediator, so appointed, be requested to conclude the mediation proceeding at an early date, having regard to the fact that the dispute has been pending since the year 2000.
