1. The challenge in the present petition is to an order dated 3rd Order No.

July, 2008 passed by the Director of Estate & Ex-officio, Joint Secretary to Government, G.A. Department cancelling the lease in respect of Plot No.100 of Unit No.1, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar on the ground that the Petitioner is the purchaser of the said plot by way of the Registered Sale Deed dated 31st March, 1983 i.e. prior to the cancellation of the lease deed in favour of the vendor and no notice was issued to the Petitioner prior to such cancellation.

2. On that short ground, the impugned order is set aside. If the G.A. Department wishes to proceed afresh in the matter, it will do so only after prior notice to the present Petitioner.
