In this application, the petitioner has prayed for transfer of ICC Case No. 61 of 2019 from the court of learned S.D.J.M., Bhawanipatna to the court of learned S.D.J.M., Koraput.

Mr. Niranjan Lenka, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has prayed for transfer of the aforesaid case on the ground that his life is in danger if he proceeds to Bhawanipatna.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, at present, I do not find any ground for entertaining the application for transfer.

However, if the petitioner feels apprehensive about his safety in Bhawanipatna, it is open to him to approach the local

// 2 // police for extending protection to him to enable him to appear in the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the TRPCRL as well as I.A. No. 05 of 2022 is disposed of.
