This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Video Conferencing/Physical Mode). Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with G.R. Case No.888 of 2020 arising out of Chauliaganj P.S. Case No.281 of 2020 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C. (City), Cuttack for alleged commission of offences under section 370/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with sections 3/4/5/7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

Considering the submissions made by the

// 2 // learned counsel for the petitioner that co-accused Siba Samal, who was taken into judicial custody, has been released on bail in the meantime and the petitioner is a lady and there is no criminal antecedent against her and keeping in view the proviso to section 437(1) Cr.P.C. and on hearing the learned counsel for the State, it is ordered that the interim order dated 12.02.2021 is made absolute subject to conditions that the petitioner shall make herself available for interrogation by the I.O. as and when required and she shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to the Investigating Officer.

Violation of any of the above conditions shall entail cancellation of bail.

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
