1. Counsel for the Petitioners is not able to answer a simple Order No.

question whether a land acquisition award has been passed by the Land Acquisition Collector. Without there being an award the question of entertaining any prayer of the Petitioners for 'higher' compensation simply does not arise.

2. In that view of the matter, the writ petition cannot be entertained and it is disposed of as such.
