Considering the submissions made by the parties, this Court finds, depending on the correspondence made by the Tahasildar, Darpan to the Collector, Jajpur, some action is required to be taken in the matter of disbursement of ex gratia. In such view of the matter, this Court directs, in the event there is no finality to such issue, action as appropriate involving Annexure-5 be taken by completing the entire exercise within a period of two months from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioner.

Let an extra copy of the brief be served on the learned State Counsel for communication purpose.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
