1. This matter is taken up through video conferencing.

2. Heard Mr. K.K. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.C. Panda, learned A.G.A. for the State-Opposite Parties.

3. The sole grievance of the Petitioner is that the complaint filed by her before the Police is not registered as FIR under Sec.154 of the Cr.P.C.

4. Upon hearing both the parties and keeping in view the alternative provisions available under the Cr.P.C., the CRLMP is not entertained. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate alternative steps for redressal of her grievance under the provisions of the Cr.P.C.

5. The CRLMP is disposed of.

6. As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020 as modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021 and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo No.514, dated 7th January, 2022.
