Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The grievance of the Petitioner in this Writ Petition is that though Ac. 0.500 of land appertaining to Khata No. 491, Plot No. 1452, Mouza Patia was settled in his favour by the Tahasildar, Bhubaneswar, opposite party No. 3, in W.L. Case No. 1195 of 1979 and he has filed a petition for correction of the Record of Rights, no action is being taken by the Authorities. It appears that the petition was filed by the Petitioner as long back as in the year 1990.

Without expressing any opinion with regard to merit of the contention raised, this Court disposed of the Writ Petition directing Opposite Party No. 3 to dispose of the said petition and pass necessary orders strictly in the consonance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order, if the same has not been disposed of in the meanwhile.
