Mr. P. Mishra, learned Counsel for the Appellant and Mr. G.P. Dutta, learned Counsel for the Respondent No.2, along with representative of the Company are present.

The judgment dated 26.12.2017, passed by the court of learned 1st MACT, Deogarh, in MAC Case No.72 of 2011 is under challenge, vide which a compensation amount of Rs.3,20,800/- with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of filing of the case i.e.19.09.2011, was awarded in favour of the Appellant and the said amount has already been paid to the Appellant.

The Appellant has filed this Appeal for enhancement of the compensation amount.

Learned Counsels for the Parties submit that matter has been settled amicably and to the said effect, a joint Memo has been filed today, which be kept on record.

In view of such submission of the Parties and the joint Memo, the MACA stands disposed of enhancing the compensation amount further for

an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh fifty thousand only) consolidated, as agreed by the parties, to be deposited within eight weeks from the date of production of the certified/free copy of this Order with the court below.

On deposit of the enhanced amount, as agreed by the parties, the same shall be disbursed in favour of the Appellant/Claimant by the court below in accordance with law.

Needless to mention here that since this Order has been passed in the 4th National Lok Adalat, no Court Fee is payable. 9.
