The prayer sought for by the petitioner for by the petitioner for issuance of a writ of mandamus to the opposite parties to release the admitted outstanding dues for supply of Arhar Dal for the month of November and December, under Mid Day Meal and Supplementary Nutrition Programme Schemes, urging various facts and legal contentions need not be examined by this Court in view of the statement of counter filed by opposite party nos. 3 & 4 wherein at paragraph-5 with reference to the averments made at paragraph-1 of the writ petition it is stated thus:- "The payments in respect of those bills could not be made as records required for verification have been seized by Vigilance Directorate and the D.S.W.O., Ganjam has already requested the Director, Social Welfare-cum-Ex-Officio Addl. Secretary to Government in the department of Women and Child Development for necessary clarification as to how funds can be released in favour of the petitioner and the clarification is still awaited."

In view of the counter statement filed by the opposite party nos.3 & 4, the Director, Social Welfare-

cum-Ex-Officio Addl. Secretary to Government in the department of Women and Child Development may take a decision in the matter as expeditiously as possible. 5.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 6.
