03. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.
2. The petitioners had filed W.P.(C) No.6200 of 2020, which was disposed of vide order dated 11.09.2020 with the direction to the Collector, Jajpur to initiate action against the encroachers of a public road.
3. Since no action was taken, hence the present contempt.
4. Mr. Khuntia upon instructions states that the Collector, Jajpur has directed the Tahasildar, Dasarathpur to demarcate the land in question and thereafter initiate action for removal of encroachments as per the provisions of Orissa Prevention of Land Encroachment Act. We find that the order has been substantially complied with and hope that the proceedings are taken to a logical
// 2 // conclusion at the earliest, failing which, the petitioners would be free to seek the revival of the present contempt by filing an appropriate application.
5. The CONTC is accordingly disposed of.
