Surakshit Mishra v. State Of Orissa
IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
CMAPL No. 318 of 2017 Surakshit Mishra ....
Petitioner Mr. Shyamananda Mohapatra, Senior Advocate -versusState of Odisha and Others ...
Opp.Parties Mr. Ishwar Mohanty, Addl. Standing Counsel
CORAM:
THE CHIEF JUSTICE JUSTICE M.S. RAMAN
ORDER
19.12.2022 Order No.
02.
1. The Petitioner was already 35 years when the writ petition was filed in 2016 for a direction to the Opposite Parties to reevaluate the English Paper in the Odisha Judicial Examination 2015. It was that writ petition which was dismissed for non-prosecution by this Court on 27th June, 2017; the recall of which order is sought in the present application.
2. Restoring such a writ petition would be pointless since the relief prayed for cannot be granted to the Petitioner in view of his being over-aged for being appointed in the OJS. Consequently, the Court is not inclined to entertain the present application. The application is dismissed.
