1. The prayer in the present writ petition is for a direction to the Opposite Parties to settle the land stated to be in the possession of the Petitioner for over 40 years in her favour by accepting the regular dues.

2. There was no interim order passed in this petition in all these years. Learned counsel for the Petitioner informs to the Court that even at the time of filing of the petition, the Petitioner was not in a possession of the land in question.

3. It is stated that the petitioner is not alive any more. In that view of the matter, the prayers have been rendered academic.

4. The writ petition is disposed of.
