This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner was appointed as Librarian as per the order passed by the Sub-Collector, Balasore, dated 10.09.1998 and his emolument was fixed at Rs.200/- P.M.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner though the petitioner has performed his duty as such till his retirement, but has not been paid his legitimate dues. 4.

Learned counsel for the State submits that he has to obtain instruction regarding the veracity of the claim. 5.

Considering the limited nature of the grievance, this Court directs the Sub-Collector, Balasore (O.P.No.3) to look into the grievance of the petitioner and direct for release of his

emoluments in the event it is found that the sasme is due and admissible.

To facilitate such disposal, the learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to file a detailed claim before the SubCollector within a period of four weeks from today along with copy of the writ petition. If such representation along with the copy of the writ petition is submitted, the Sub-Collector shall take a decision within a period of eight weeks from the date of such submission along with copy of this order.
